I love what I do.  To say that I am rooted in self-growth, healing, and empowerment is an understatement.  I’m a cycle breaker too.  It’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about helping others through it.

Being a cycle breaker can be a lonely experience.  You might simultaneously feel misunderstood by the family that raised you and not quite a part of the new community you’ve built.  People who had healthier childhoods don’t quite get what it’s like to be you.  They may not understand why it’s hard to set boundaries or be around your family.  Things that seem benign or easy to them, feel harder for you.

I can help.  I will help you find clarity on what serves you and what doesn’t.  I can help you strengthen your confidence in your ability to have healthy relationships and know what is right for you.  Imagine feeling grounded, confident, and clear.  Imagine knowing how to lovingly support yourself and others as you continue to navigate the complexities of life.

The How:

Whether you are interested in therapy or Enneagram coaching, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental space when working with me. During our sessions, I listen intently and will ask you questions specifically designed to challenge and support you in your growth. I will help you dig deep so you can understand the root of what is causing your suffering and getting in the way of building the kind of life and relationships that you want.  This includes tuning into your body and learning to understand what it’s communicating to you.  I offer insights and feedback based on what you are processing in session and on your goals.  If you like having things to work on between sessions, I will make suggestions so you can get the most out of your process.

Cycle BreakerTherapy

Throughout therapy, I use a variety of tools to help you heal and break negative patterns. We may use EMDR, a brain-based technique using eye movement. I also incorporate body-based techniques to help you process emotions and increase your awareness of what your body is communicating to you.  Our mental health is directly linked to the health of our brains and bodies, and I like to incorporate both.  The Enneagram is a great tool to incorporate. Therapy often starts by processing current stressors which leads to deeper connections to the past. Focusing on either is good. As your therapist, I act as a guide and will help you get to where you need to go. Learn more about therapy and who I work well with.

Enneagram Therapy

Therapy integrated through the lens of the Enneagram. One of the most effective tools I've ever found for bringing about personal change is the Enneagram. When used with therapy, it has a significant effect. My area of expertise is using the Enneagram to help individuals dealing with anxiety, tense family situations, and traumatic childhood experiences. How you are affected by all of these things and how you attempt to deal with them depends on your Enneagram type. As an Enneagram therapist, I can not only help you identify the areas where you are getting in your own way, I can help you do the hard work of challenging yourself and growing into the healthier version of your type.

Enneagram Coaching

Enneagram coaching is goal driven and faster paced.  We process how your Enneagram type is showing up and focus on doing the work of your type. While this can include processing childhood experiences and deep emotions, it’s different from counseling in that we use the Enneagram as our main tool.   I will provide you with direct feedback and give you information on your Enneagram type and subtype. If you have studied the Enneagram and your type is unclear to you, I can help you get clarity with a typing interview. Learn more about Enneagram coaching and who I work well with.

The first step to working together is to schedule a free 20 minute phone consultation. Investing your time, money, and emotional energy into therapy or coaching is a big deal. It’s an investment in yourself, your health, and your well-being. It’s important that you make this investment with trust and confidence that working together is a good fit. This is why I offer a 20 minute phone consultation. During this time we can identify your needs and answer any questions that you have about working together. Being a cycle breaker and creating meaningful change involves getting help along the way. You don’t have to do this work all by yourself.
